Kaiser Permanente Division of Research

Welcome to the Kaiser Permanente Autism Family Biobank Study!

The goal of this project is to collect information from 5,000 trios – a child with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and both biological parents. This information will be used in the future to look for the cause of and new treatments for autism.

By participating, YOU can help scientists find new ways to prevent and treat ASD. It may help others, such as family, friends, or your community in the future.

How do I participate?

You can join by registering online, donating either a blood or saliva sample and completing two short surveys online or on paper. Participation is voluntary and your decision not to participate will not affect your care at Kaiser Permanente.
